About this scholarship
Gifted vocalists admitted to Lehigh University of any major may apply for Cutler-Sametz Choral Arts Scholarships through the Department of Music.
Merit awards of $5,000 per year are renewable for up to four years with a minimum 2.8 GPA. Recipients receive free vocal lessons and must sing in the University Choir plus a second choral ensemble for at least four semesters.
Submit the separate music department application by January 10. The number of recipients varies each year.
The scholarship honors Robert B. Cutler, director of the Lehigh Glee Club from 1954 to 1979, and Steven P. Sametz, director of Lehigh Choral Arts from 1979 onward.
