Leelan Hanna Charles Scholarship for Women in Engineering

Third- or fourth-year undergraduate students who identify as female in the School of Engineering at UBC Okanagan may be considered.

Scholarships totalling $8,000 are made available annually through a gift from Ken Moen and Kelly Hanna of Gallery 421, along with matching funds from UBC. Individual scholarship amounts vary.

The scholarships are adjudicated by Enrolment Services. There is no separate application.

These scholarships were created to encourage women in engineering, offer an empowering path for innovation and leadership, and inspire diversity and resiliency in the workplace.
