Full-time doctoral students in industrial-organizational psychology or a closely related field at a regionally accredited university, who are SIOP student members in good standing, may apply for the Lee Hakel Graduate Student Scholarship. Programs outside the U.S. are eligible.

The award is $4,000 and supports dissertation research. The scholarship subcommittee evaluates each applicant's proposed dissertation research.
