About this scholarship
ASCE student members in good standing enrolled as undergraduates in an ABET-accredited civil engineering or related program with an interest in structural engineering may apply.
One scholarship is awarded annually for tuition and fees. The award amount varies and is set by the Executive Committee from endowment income.
Submit an online application, 500-word essay, budget statement, transcript, two recommendations (one from faculty), and resume by January 15. The scholarship was established as a memorial to Lawrence W. Cox and Francis W. Cox through a bequest from Mrs. Wahneta T. Hinrichs.
