About this scholarship

For students entering second or third year of the J.D. program at UBC's Peter A. Allard School of Law who have demonstrated, through volunteer or paid work, outstanding commitment to working in the broader public interest, particularly in legal aid, legal education, and law reform. Preference goes to students with good academic achievement who have traditionally been underrepresented in the legal profession and/or have worked in the broader public interest in rural areas of British Columbia.

Thirteen awards of $2,875 each are offered annually by the Law Foundation of British Columbia. The awards are made on the recommendation of the Peter A. Allard School of Law.

Students must apply through the continuing student awards application.
