Laura Fuoss Memorial Scholarship

Women who have earned a bachelor's degree and are entering or enrolled in a graduate or advanced certification program at an accredited university may apply for the $1,000 Laura Fuoss Memorial Scholarship if they are Morton School District residents, Morton High School graduates, employed in Morton, or Morton AAUW Branch members.

One award of $1,000 supports graduate-level or advanced certification study. Applicants must be in good academic standing.

Obtain the application from Morton AAUW or the Morton Community Foundation, provide proof of enrollment or acceptance, and submit transcripts by May 1.

Established in 1978 and renamed in 1983 to honor founding Morton AAUW member Laura Fuoss, the scholarship is now endowed through the Morton Community Foundation.
