About this scholarship

Laotian American students of Laotian descent who have graduated from high school and reside in Western New York may apply for the Laotian American Scholarship Foundation award. Applicants must have applied to and plan to attend a college, university, or trade school. This is a first-year, non-renewable scholarship.

All qualified applicants receive a base scholarship, and the top three receive additional awards. Amounts vary based on annual fundraising.

Submit a high school transcript and written essay. Applicants must attend the LASF award ceremony with a parent or guardian to accept the funds.
