Laidlaw Scholars Programme

First- or second-year full-time University of Toronto undergraduates on any campus, working toward a first bachelor's degree, may apply for the Laidlaw Scholars Programme. Visiting, exchange, and graduate students are not eligible, and applicants need at least two summers left before graduation.

The 16-month leadership and research program funds up to 25 students per cycle. Scholars receive up to $5,000 for each of two summer research or Leadership-in-Action periods, with optional extra funding of up to $2,500 for travel or lab costs. Application details for each cycle are posted by the Centre for International Experience.
