About this scholarship
ESL or LEP Kentucky high school seniors with a native language other than English, a minimum 2.5 GPA, and acceptance to a Kentucky post-secondary institution may apply for the KYTESOL scholarship.
One $1,500 award is paid in two $750 installments at the start of the first and second semesters for tuition, books, and fees. Applicants should have been enrolled in ESL classes during middle or high school and must demonstrate financial need.
Submit a completed application, personal essay, two recommendations (one from a current teacher), transcript, and college acceptance letter.
