About this scholarship

Advanced graduate students in Chicagoland entering their final year in accredited programs such as social work, law, psychology, counseling, or related fields focused on aging may apply for the Kott Gerontology Scholars Program from January 1 through May 31. Scholars receive a $10,000 academic-year scholarship.

The program also includes a 600-hour aging-services internship, monthly learning sessions, and a macro project. Applicants should demonstrate commitment to working with older adults after graduation.

The program is supported by the Russell and Josephine Kott Charitable Memorial Trust.
