Kimberley B.C. Poole Family Entrance Award in Engineering for Indigenous Students

For First Nations, Inuit, or Métis students of Canada entering their first year of a Bachelor of Applied Science program at UBC Vancouver. Preference is given to students from British Columbia or Yukon. Financial need may be considered.

Two awards of $10,000 each, funded annually by a gift from Dr. William (Bill) Poole (B.A.Sc. 1949). Apply through the Faculty of Applied Science EDI.I awards portal; awards are made on the recommendation of the Faculty.

Bill and his family are originally from Kimberley, British Columbia. He created this award to help remove barriers for future generations of Indigenous students.
