About this scholarship

Canadian undergraduate students in good standing at a degree-granting Canadian institution, including Concordia, may apply through the Killam Fellowships open competition for one-semester or full-year exchange study in the United States. Applicants must be Canadian citizens, fluent in English (and/or French where appropriate), and have a strong academic record.

The award provides $5,000 USD for one semester plus a $750 USD health insurance allowance. Fellows may also apply for optional mobility and community-action grants. The Killam Fellowship cannot be held with the Quebec Mobility Award.

Applicants need transcripts, a personal statement, course selection forms, and two references.
