New York residents age 26 or younger who are dependents of a worker who suffered a serious or fatal work-related injury or occupational disease while employed by a New York employer may apply for Kids' Chance of New York scholarships. Awards vary based on need and may cover tuition, books, supplies, housing, meals, and other expenses not covered by other aid.
Scholarships are paid directly to the educational institution. Submit fall- or spring-semester applications by the published deadlines.
Kids' Chance of New York provides college and vocational scholarships to children of injured or deceased workers.
