About this scholarship
Michigan residents ages 17 to 22 who are dependents of a worker catastrophically injured or killed in a Michigan workers' compensation-covered workplace accident and demonstrate financial need may apply for Kids' Chance of Michigan scholarships. Funds may be used at accredited institutions within Michigan.
Scholarships range from $3,750 to $7,500 per year, paid directly to the institution, and are renewable as funds allow. Submit applications by the published fall or spring deadlines.
Kids' Chance of Michigan supports children whose parents were killed or severely injured in work-related accidents.
