Kids Cancer Care Derek Wandzura Memorial Scholarship

Be a childhood cancer patient or survivor. Diagnosis must have occurred at age 18 or younger. Be a resident of Southern Alberta.* Proof of current address/residency may be requested. Applicants must not be a recipient of the Kids with Cancer Society Bursary. Be enrolled in any year of study at a post-secondary institution in the upcoming academic year pursuing an undergraduate degree, diploma, or certificate program.

Award value: $2,500.

Apply through the Calgary Foundation student awards portal. Deadline: May 1, 2026. Online forms typically open mid-February for the following academic year. A reference letter is commonly required.
