About this scholarship

Graduating high school seniors or current college students from Bay, Clinton, Eaton, Genesee, Huron, Ingham, Lapeer, Midland, Saginaw, Sanilac, Shiawassee, or Tuscola County, Michigan, who pursue full-time undergraduate studies in a broadcast-related field and demonstrate financial need may apply through the Saginaw Community Foundation. Award amounts vary.

Priority is given to students interested in radio. Selection weighs financial need, broadcasting skills, leadership, and an interview.

The scholarship honors Kenneth Hugh MacDonald Sr. and supports students entering broadcast careers.
