About this scholarship

Outstanding Master of Engineering students in UBC Civil Engineering specializing in geotechnical engineering may be considered for these awards. Preference may be given to students who completed their undergraduate degree at UBC. Financial need may be taken into consideration.

Awards totalling $10,000 are available annually from a gift by Keith Robinson (B.A.Sc. 1962, M.Eng.). The Department of Civil Engineering recommends recipients in consultation with the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies.

Keith grew up in North Vancouver and obtained an M.Eng. from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Throughout his career he provided geotechnical consulting locally and internationally and served as President of both Consulting Engineers of BC and Canadian Consulting Engineers.
