About this scholarship
Kansas residents who served in overseas military operations after September 11, 2001, receiving hostile fire pay for at least 90 days (or less if injured), and received an honorable discharge or remain on active duty may apply for the Kansas Military Service Scholarship.
The scholarship covers tuition and fees at Kansas public colleges. Award amounts vary. Undergraduate study only, with enrollment of at least six credit hours per semester.
Submit the FAFSA, State of Kansas Student Aid Application, and DD-214 or active-duty orders showing deployment location. Priority deadline is May 1.
