About this scholarship
Graduating high school seniors from a single-parent home with at least a 3.0 GPA who plan to enroll in college full-time may apply for the Kanika Goodman Scholarship through the Saginaw Community Foundation's unified application.
Two awards are given each year: one to a Saginaw High School senior and one to a senior from any Saginaw County high school. Amounts vary.
Apply through the foundation's scholarship directory when the cycle opens (typically November 1 through the posted due date).
The fund was established in 1997 in memory of Kanika Goodman, who died at 19 from complications of a bone marrow transplant.
