About this scholarship
Female graduating high school seniors who attend school in Hampden, Hampshire, or Franklin County, Massachusetts and have outstanding volunteer and community service may apply for the Junior League of Greater Springfield Annual Scholarship. Applicants must plan to attend a two-year or four-year college.
One renewable scholarship of up to $4,000 per year for up to four years is awarded. Recipients must maintain at least a 3.0 GPA, complete at least 20 hours of community service each year, and submit a letter of reference from a current volunteer supervisor. College acceptance verification may be requested; unused funds must be returned if the recipient stops school.
Submit all four parts of the JLGS scholarship application by the posted deadline.
The Junior League, founded in 1901, promotes voluntarism and community improvement through trained volunteers.
