About this scholarship
Writers and scholars anywhere may submit to the Judith Siegel Pearson Award, an annual national prize administered by Wayne State University's English department for the best creative or scholarly work on a subject concerning women. Submissions are open to interested writers outside the Wayne State community.
One award is given each year; the amount varies. In rotating years, unpublished fiction, drama, poetry, or nonfiction is welcome, provided the subject concerns women.
Applications typically run from winter until the posted due date on the department scholarships page.
