Judith Heavenrich Memorial Scholarship

Single, low-income mothers who are Saginaw County residents and non-traditional students (out of high school at least six months, or returning after two or more semesters away) pursuing an associate degree, undergraduate degree, or vocational training part time or full time may apply for the Judith Heavenrich Memorial Scholarship through the Saginaw Community Foundation unified application, which opens November 1.

Award amounts vary. Selection weighs financial need, essay responses, work experience, and recommendations. The fund was established to help single mothers return to school.
