About this scholarship
Undergraduate students at accredited two- or four-year colleges, or students in their first year of graduate school, pursuing floriculture, horticulture, or a closely related field who intend to work in commercial U.S. floriculture after graduation may apply for Joseph Shinoda Memorial Foundation scholarships.
Award amounts vary. Selection weighs career goals, floriculture experience, financial need, and academic performance. Preference goes to upper-division students specializing in floriculture.
Submit the online application, two letters of recommendation, and a transcript by April 24. Previous applicants and recipients may reapply with an updated packet.
