Current or aspiring Lycoming County, Pennsylvania medical professionals accepted into a part-time or full-time medical-related program (medicine, nursing, pharmacy, allied health, or a related specialty) who plan careers dedicated to helping others may apply for the Joseph R. Calder, Jr., MD Scholarship Fund through the First Community Foundation Partnership of Pennsylvania.
Award amounts vary. Preference goes to returning students developing new skills or first-time students who are not recent high school graduates.
