About this scholarship

Undergraduate or graduate students born in Cuba or of direct Cuban descent with at least a 3.5 GPA who are enrolled full time at an accredited college and demonstrate leadership and community service may apply for Mas Family Scholarships.

Award amounts vary. Financial need is considered but is not the primary factor. Need-based awards may renew for up to four years.

Submit the official application with proof of Cuban descent, a personal statement, a 1,000-word essay, transcript, test scores, FAFSA or CSS Profile, and three recommendations. Applications open October 15.
