Jon Yi Education Scholarship

Texas high school seniors with a minimum 3.0 GPA who plan to enroll in a Texas university, college, or trade school for a two- or four-year degree may apply for the Jon Yi Education Scholarship.

One non-renewable $1,000 award is given based on financial need, academics, leadership, and community involvement.

Submit the application essay by July 24.

Jon Yi, a Texas A&M graduate who received seven scholarships during his education, created this fund to give back and support Texas students pursuing postsecondary education.
