John Wai Chung and Susanna Leung Entrance Award in Pharmacy

Open to outstanding undergraduate students entering a program in the UBC Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences. In addition to academic merit, consideration is given to leadership skills, community service, and recognized extracurricular achievement.

Renewable entrance awards from an endowment by John Wai Chung Leung (B.Sc. Pharm 1977) may be renewed for up to three additional years of study, subject to continued academic standing. Award amounts vary.

John practiced pharmacy in Squamish, Vancouver, and Abbotsford for nearly four decades before establishing this fund to support future pharmacists. Selection is made on faculty recommendation. There is no separate student application.
