John Shirra Memorial Scholarship

University of Calgary Haskayne School of Business Bachelor of Commerce students in third year or beyond who are Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or on a Canadian student visa may apply for this scholarship.

Two awards of at least $2,000 each are applied directly to tuition. Applicants must demonstrate community leadership and athletic involvement and provide one letter of reference. Financial need may be considered. Apply through the Calgary Foundation grant portal.

Established in 1994 in memory of John Shirra, a Calgary businessman and University of Calgary Commerce graduate, by family, friends, and colleagues.
