John S. Carasik Scholarship

U.S. citizens age 21 or older, preferably Clan MacDougall or McCallum members, may apply for the John S. Carasik Scholarship to volunteer at least seven days preserving clan history at Dunollie House in Oban, Scotland or the Lismore Gaelic Heritage Museum.

The award provides $1,000 toward travel and related expenses for the volunteer assignment.

Submit a roughly 500 word application by April 1 and a written report within 30 days of return.

The fund honors John S. Carasik, an avid Scottish history enthusiast, and was established by MacDougall and McCallum descendants to preserve clan heritage.
