About this scholarship
North Myrtle Beach High School graduating seniors accepted to Coastal Carolina University or Horry-Georgetown Technical College with a minimum 2.0 GPA, financial need, and a business-related major may apply for the John M. Draughn and Trena B. Draughn Scholarship through the school guidance department.
One award of up to $2,000 is given. Preference goes to students with work history in the past two years.
Submit a transcript, 200 word essay, and recommendation to the guidance office by the internal deadline.
The scholarship recognizes seniors who maintain high moral principles, trustworthiness, and leadership qualities.
