About this scholarship
Undergraduate civil engineering students in ABET-accredited programs who are ASCE Student Members in good standing and demonstrate commitment to water supply or environmental engineering may apply for the John Lenard Civil Engineering Scholarship.
Up to two recipients are selected annually. The award amount is set each year by ASCE and varies.
Submit the online application with a contact form, budget statement, 500 word environmental essay, transcript, two recommendations, and resume by January 15.
John Lenard, P.E., F.ASCE endowed this scholarship in 2008 to encourage civil engineering students focused on water supply and environmental engineering.
