About this scholarship
U.S. undergraduate, graduate, or professional students, including high school seniors, GED holders, and community college students enrolled in or accepted to an accredited program, may apply for this $1,000 law-career scholarship. A minimum 2.5 GPA is required.
Submit a resume, unofficial transcript, and a 1,000 to 1,500 word essay on experiences leading to a legal career, your area of law interest, and how you will use law to help others. Materials are due by email between January 1 and March 1 annually.
The Kirk Law Firm offers the award in memory of John L. Calhoun.
