About this scholarship
U.S. citizens or permanent residents who are law students working for a bar association or legal services program serving homeless or indigent clients may apply for the John J. Curtin, Jr. Fellowship.
Three fellows each receive a $3,500 taxable stipend for at least eight continuous weeks of work between May 1 and September 1. First-year law students are encouraged to apply.
Submit a resume, application form, and a supporting statement from the prospective program as one PDF. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. The fellowship honors former ABA President Jack Curtin and his commitment to social justice.
