About this scholarship
For outstanding domestic students entering third year of the J.D. program at UBC's Peter A. Allard School of Law who have achieved academic excellence and demonstrated an interest in corporate law through academic pursuits, student leadership, and community service.
A $5,700 award made available through an endowment established by the Gooding Family Foundation, the Anderson Family, and friends, in memory of John F. Anderson (1962-2021). The award is made on the recommendation of the Peter A. Allard School of Law.

John (LL.B. 1990) practiced at Stikeman Elliott for thirty years as a corporate and securities lawyer. While at UBC he received the Wesbrook Scholar Award and the Raymond G. Herbert Award as the best all-round graduating student in the law school.
