John Deere Scholarship

U.S. citizens with a minimum 3.0 GPA who have completed at least one semester in a four-year weld engineering, weld engineering technology, or mechanical or manufacturing engineering program with weld emphasis may apply for the American Welding Society Foundation John Deere Scholarship.

Two $2,500 awards are given annually. One goes to a student from Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota, Wisconsin, or Missouri based on high school or permanent address. The second goes to a female or minority student, with preference for students from those states plus Nebraska, Kansas, and the Dakotas.
