John Carew Memorial Scholarship

Graduate students pursuing floriculture or horticulture with an interest in greenhouse crops who are U.S. or Canadian citizens or residents, or enrolled at an accredited U.S. or Canadian institution, with at least a 2.0 GPA may apply for the John Carew Memorial Scholarship through the American Floral Endowment.

Awards range from $500 to $5,000. The number of recipients varies.

Submit the online application with a resume, transcripts, and two letters of recommendation, preferably one from a teacher and one from an employer, by May 1.

John Carew, former head of the Department of Horticulture at Michigan State University, dedicated his career to guiding young horticulturists.
