John and Freda Halas Memorial Scholarship

Alberta residents with superior academic achievement entering the second, third, or fourth year of a U of A Faculty of Agricultural, Life and Environmental Sciences degree majoring in Agriculture, Agricultural/Food Business Management, Forestry or Forest Business Management, or Animal Health may receive this scholarship. Selection is based on academic standing and financial need. Preference is given to applicants from an Alberta farming or ranching family; urban students are also encouraged to apply.
