About this scholarship

Alberta residents who are Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or protected persons and are enrolled full-time in the second or subsequent year of a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, Nursing, or Social Work at an Alberta post-secondary institution may apply.

One scholarship of $1,500 is available.

Submit a completed application form and official post-secondary transcript to Alberta Student Aid. Selection is based on academic achievement in a full-time course load for the previous fall and winter terms; ties go to Chemical Engineering applicants.

The award honours Jo-Anne Koch, first Principal of ABC (Westmount) Charter Public School in Calgary and an advocate for gifted learners.
