About this scholarship
Female high school seniors in the Rockford, Illinois area with a record of volunteer or community service may apply for the Junior League of Rockford Outstanding Community Service Scholarship.
One merit award of $1,000 is presented in person as a check.
Download the application, attach two letters of recommendation, community service records, and an essay about your volunteer involvement, then email or mail it by the March deadline. Finalists interview; the recipient claims the award at a May dinner meeting.
