Jim Dempsey Foundation Scholarship

Students age 18 or older accepted to or enrolled full-time in an accredited U.S. program with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA who are pursuing a degree in a caregiving profession such as medicine, mental health, or teaching may apply.

One award of $500 is given. Preference goes to graduate students.

Submit the online application with a personal statement on your goals and reasons for pursuing a helping profession. The Doc Dempsey Scholarship honors James Dempsey, who valued higher education and supported his family through years of schooling.
