About this scholarship

Incoming first-year students at Jacksonville State University with a minimum 3.0 high school GPA and an ACT score of 20 to 28 or SAT score of 1030 to 1320 may apply for the competitive Leadership Scholarship.

The award is valued at $7,500 annually, totaling $30,000 over four years if renewed. Recipients must complete 24 institutional credits per year with a 2.0 GPA and maintain campus involvement. The scholarship cannot be stacked with other JSU merit scholarships.

Submit a separate JAXAPP application by February 1 for consideration, in addition to admission to JSU.
