Jane Fleming Memorial Scholarship in Geography

Outstanding women enrolled in a graduate program in the UBC Vancouver Department of Geography may be nominated for this scholarship.

Scholarships totalling $2,100 come from an endowment established by the Estate of Jane Isabel Fleming (1945-2022). No separate application is required; the Department of Geography makes recommendations in consultation with the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies.

Jane Fleming was an experienced land use planner whose career included senior roles with Western Land Consultants, the City of Edmonton, and Larco Investments.
