About this scholarship

Students with a confirmed diagnosis of cystic fibrosis who are U.S. citizens residing in eligible Midwestern and Southern states, maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA, and are enrolled in or accepted to an accredited U.S. college, university, junior college, or trade school may apply.

Three scholarships are awarded annually: one $5,000, one $3,000, and one $2,000. Funds may cover tuition, fees, books, supplies, housing, or meal plans and are paid directly to your institution. Applicants may receive up to four total awards over time.

Submit proof of diagnosis, three recommendation letters (from a healthcare provider, school official, and community member), and a personal essay of 500 to 1,000 words. Applications are accepted from January 1 through May 1.
