James Robert Schell Memorial Scholarship

Undergraduate UBC School of Music students majoring in an orchestral instrument who demonstrate financial need may be nominated, with preference for French Horn.

Scholarships from this endowment total $3,150; the per-recipient amount varies. They were endowed in memory of Professor Emeritus James Robert Schell, who taught in the School of Music from 1964 to 1999.

Recommendations are made by the Faculty in consultation with Enrolment Services. There is no separate student application.
