About this scholarship
Graduating high school seniors who are sons, daughters, or financial dependents of active, retired, or deceased Teamster members (including BLET, BMWED, and TCRC) may apply online. Academic scholarships range from $1,000 to $10,000, and vocational or training program scholarships range from $500 to $2,000. More than 200 awards are granted annually.
Selection weighs academic accomplishments, community service, financial need, and other criteria. The $10,000 academic award is paid over four years and renews if the recipient maintains a minimum 3.0 GPA. Complete the full application with academic records, community service documentation, and required materials before the deadline.
The James R. Hoffa Memorial Scholarship Fund honors the legacy of the longtime Teamsters leader by supporting members' families entering college.
