About this scholarship

U.S. citizen graduating high school seniors, undergraduates, or graduate students with a minimum GPA of 3.0 and a record of leadership, volunteerism, and extracurricular involvement may apply. High school seniors and undergraduates should plan to attend or currently attend an HBCU. Graduate students pursuing health and medical science degrees are also eligible.

Award amounts and recipient counts vary by level. Selected students become Freemont Scholars.

Submit transcripts and two letters of recommendation with your application package.
