James (Jim) O’Rourke Scholarship in Mining Engineering

For outstanding Bachelor of Applied Science students specializing in Mining Engineering at UBC Vancouver. Preference is given to students studying Mineral Processing.

Scholarships from an endowment; individual amounts vary. Scholarships are made on the recommendation of the Norman B. Keevil Institute of Mining Engineering; no separate application is required.

The endowment was established in honour of James (Jim) O'Rourke (B.A.Sc. 1964), P.Eng., OBC, founder of Copper Mountain Mining Corp and a Canadian Mining Hall of Fame inductee.
