James A. Johnson Community Contribution Award

McMaster University Faculty of Social Sciences students enrolled in Anthropology, Economics, Geography, Gerontology, Work and Labour Studies, Political Science, Psychology, Religious Studies, Social Work, or Sociology who have provided outstanding service to McMaster University or the community are eligible.

The award amount varies. One scholarship is granted annually.

Apply through McMaster AwardSpring. Established in 1997 to honour Dr. James A. Johnson, Dean of Social Sciences from 1989 to 1997. Preference is given to students whose service was undertaken within the Faculty of Social Sciences.
