Jake Jones Memorial Scholarship

Graduating high school seniors from the 26 northernmost counties of the Texas Panhandle with a minimum GPA of 2.5 may apply. You must have a learning disability and demonstrate integrity, ambition, good moral character, loyalty to friends, family, and faith, and a strong desire for higher education.

Award amounts and the number of scholarships vary each year. The Amarillo Area Foundation administers the program.

Apply through the foundation's unified online application. Submit a transcript, essay, recommendations, and FAFSA documentation by the deadline.
