Jack T.H. Fenety Conservation Scholarship

Graduate students at a Canadian or American university conducting research on wild Atlantic salmon and/or its habitat that is relevant to the Miramichi watershed may apply for this Miramichi Salmon Association scholarship.

One award of up to $10,000 CAD is offered each year. Funds go directly to the student for equipment, fieldwork travel, and living costs, and may not cover university or collaborator administrative fees. Priority goes to applicants who plan to use the Miramichi Salmon Conservation Centre in South Esk, New Brunswick.

Submit a research proposal by December 15. The award honours long-time MSA president Jack Fenety of Fredericton.
